extra colour works

This time, 100% done by me although the original linework belongs to Calvin. This time 2 of the pieces were good enough that they were selected.

anyway here are the pieces to display the moods more or less. 

The sepia toned pictures are used in a flashback sequence, hence the sepia tone. 

The scenes with the train crashed walls were also selected due to the mood. 

The final selected one was the low-angled shot of the cowboy. the desaturated colours here and the spark of warmth in the scene were suggested by Calvin. Idea worked. The mood to be conveyed here was that of hope.

Storyboard time. 

This is the colour storyboard for the 'Outlaw' project i'm working on at the moment. its the storyboard for the 1 minute trailer me and my team mate are working on now and will soon animate. 

Roughly, the story is of how a large, burly wild west highwayman meets this viper in lady's clothing. We explore his life through flashbacks and witness his expoits that lead up to the moment he meets the saloon girl. From there on, we bring in the concept of no honour among thieves, quite literally; she kills him and takes all his loot. the 1 minute trailer is a more or less abriged version.
